Provides financial assistance for eligible residents to purchase healthy and nutritious foods. Offers three day expedited service for some special emergency situations. Issues Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards with a monthly credit to purchase groceries. EBT cards accepted at participating retailers including grocery stores and farmers markets.

CalFresh EBT has extended service for online use at approved retailers. Recipients can purchase eligible groceries at participating stores for delivery and pickup.

CalFresh EBT cards accepted at various locations participating in the Restaurant Meals Program. CalFresh eligible recipients are able to buy prepared meals at participating restaurant vendors. Bank statements for checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, credit union accounts, retirement accounts, stocks, bonds, dividends, etc. Proof of shelter costs (rent or mortgage payment, lot rent, household, real estate, taxes, utility bills - heat, electricity, water/sewage/garbage, telephone, etc.)
